THE DANGER OF USING CELEBRITIES IN ADS.

 When an advertiser pays a celebrity a lot of money to appear in his product’s commercials, he intends to get his money’s worth by focusing on the celebrity. The problem from his advertising point of view is that the audience is doing the same thing.  Seeing George Clooney do his first TV spot along with Danny Devito is very engrossing. They attract all the attention. That’s why you go to see them in movies. Put them in a TV spot with any product and see how much you pay attention to the selling point of the ad. No matter how clever the situation. The spot will get high readership numbers, but just ask how many of those people remember the point of the ad.
