When an advertising
agency can’t see the difference between promoting a product and destroying any
chance of a potential customer identifying with it, and the client thinks it’s
great, they deserve the result. “Let’s see, how can we make the user of our product
look as stupid as possible?” Of course they both think: “People will like the
humor.” True, people like to laugh, but not at themselves as customers. The
Milky Way candy bar doesn’t taste that good.

A Big Announcement!
A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!
In my years of Advertising experience, I developed ideas and principles that I taught as a Creative Director to my staff, and as a professor of advertising in college to my students. I now have an E-book for those interested in using them in life.

Everyone’s Bad Experience.
Everyone’s bad
experience.
Especially guys.
Once in your life, you probably had the experience of meeting someone who you
thought would be a meaningful person to establish a relationship with, and then
have your hopes crashed by being given a wrong phone number on purpose. Win 4 Lottery
put this experience to good use in advising you to use the number to try your
luck in the lottery. Good luck with that. Your odds are better that she
actually worked in the pizzeria.

Suicide By Elbow
Suicide By Elbow.
While some advertisers
are featuring uplifting philosophical messages in their ads (see Dodge Ram or
Cadillac), this quilted Northern Tissue ad features a ceramic “Little Miss
Puffytail” that wants suicide by elbow. What!!??
She is hoping someone
will smash her to pieces. She prays to God for it! Did she experience some
horrific thing that compels her to end her life? No. She sees people using the
toilet paper. It might not be fun viewing, but to die over it?
The claim is that people
can forget their experience with the paper, but she can’t. What a claim! They
might remember the experience if the paper was far better than what they
expected, but obviously it isn’t, or these “creative geniuses” would tell us
why.
